California Organic Bathroom
This project in Rancho Santa Fe came about in 2022 when the owners had completed remodeling every part of their home - except the primary bath. Why? Because like most of us, they got stuck trying to decide what to do. There was a much better location for the bathroom that could take advantage of a window and gorgeous view, so we flipped the layout around and the result was a show stopping space. As another advantage, we were also able to give them both a larger closet and more functional gym space The before was one for the books so we had to include a few of those pics.
One of the hallmarks of organic design is the use of natural materials. In this bath we utilized limestone materials throughout with pavers on the floor, raked tiled in the shower and a rustic cut limestone for the fireplace. Paired with a concrete tub, oak cabinets and brass details, it is one of our favorites.
