PROJECT ORO

Organic and Warm in Rancho Santa Fe

This home had been untouched for 20 years and was yearning for an update to match the familys lifestyle.  We were able to redesign the flow of the kitchen by removing a counter that blocked access and create a larger island that served for multiple functions.

The living space was lacking symmetry and had too many heavy features.  By bringing in naturally toned materials and removing bulky arches and walls, the space felt more open and relaxed.   The wine room was opened up with a steel and glass enclosure with a beautiful backlit onyx.   All new flooring, furniture and accessories helped ground the new elements in the space and balance their soft textures with the stonework and steel.
