Guest House Remodel
These clients relocated from out of state and fell in love with the land more so than the house. The property had not been updated or maintained for many decades and needed a full redo. The plan was to remodel the 2 bedroom guesthouse, so they could move in there when they tackled the larger project in the main house. The style was to be inviting and calm, with a bit of a Tulum feel.
We used an LVP for the flooring so it would easily hold up to the many out of town guests. The mix of the terrazzo counters with the zellige tile throughout was the perfect blend of tones and added the texture we wanted to play off the mushroom toned cabinets and plaster hood. The earthier tile color in the bathroom grounded the space, along with the natural stained white oak cabinets. We love how this space turned out.
