A Casually Refined Kitchen
The owners of this home needed to improve how the layout functioned for their long-term needs. The garage was detached from the home so by connecting the two spaces, we were able to extend the family room as well as add a new bar and mudroom, and a more open plan suitable for entertaining.
Previously the kitchen was cut off from the family room and was quite dark and narrow. By removing the wall that separated them , we created a bright and open space with the feeling of a European kitchen that the client was craving. The inset cabinets, painted marble backsplash, and custom plaster hood all came together to give her the kitchen of her dreams.
